With twelve years old she starts playing the guitar. By fifteen, she's already part of punk groups in the Bilbao area and records in squatter houses. After several years and a definitive move to Madrid, she becomes involved in various projects, including being the bassist for Repion for a year.

With a powerful stage presence and a magnetic voice, Janire challenges conventions with a very personal and vibrant style, influenced by artists such as HAIM, St. Vincent, and Lorde. She's defined by a deep eclecticism, a constant desire to innovate, and her ability to evoke deep emotions and convey a reflective message through her music.

Her album 'Las Huidas' conceptually addresses the need to break free from the agony of routine. In her case, she demonstrates this with each new recording.
