La Villana es un grupo fuertemente vinculado a la escena de neo-psicodelia pop internacional de grupos como Yin Yin, Levitation Room, Sugar Candy Mountain, Unknown Mortal Orchestra y muchos otros. Su música va desde los sonidos psicodélicos de las producciones de Lee Hazelwood hasta cierto espíritu de renovación folk, de Zombies a Broadcast y el Donosti Sound, aportando su propia idiosincrasia a un sonido del mundo.
